Birthday and bereavement

At long last I have something to show on my blog.
I have had a few health issues and have had to have a few tests and see specialists and have hospital appointments. I have a tumor in my left lung and it wasn't clear if it was from the kidney cancer or a new lung cancer. The good news is that there are no more tumors anywhere showing in my body at this time and hopefully never. In a week or two I will be having a lung biopsy. Something I am not to keen on having but necessary to find out exactly what it is. I am praying that by some miracle it will be benign. I have had enough people praying for me so I have a very good chance. Anyhoo on to my cards.
The first one is a beareavement card I made for a friend. Very simple with some flowers that I made myself and some butterflies.
The second one is colored with Promarkers. I have just got them and have been practicing with them. I still need heaps of practice but am enjoying it a lot. Not much else to say really.

Sorry the pictures are so blurry. I took them at night and on a different camera. My camera crashed...boohoo. Good news is there is another one on the way.

Hi Maz! I'm so sorry to hear that you have been battling more health issues - I'm praying also that the lung biopsy will be nothing but benign and that you will continue from there on out to be cancer free!
Your cards are both exquisite! They are so beautifully done, with such pretty lacy backgrounds and gorgeous butterflies. I love the way you put the flowers on the bottom of the Tilda panel. And, do I detect a small charm there also? Cute as a button.
Hugs,
Barb

I read your comment on Becca's blog, I wanted to let you know that you are in my thought's and prayers. I can relate to what you are going through. I too have had many tumors and had my right kidney removed due to renal cell carcinoma and a small tumor removed from the other kidney. I understand the tests, biopsies, surgeries and all of the junk that goes with the disease. I am telling you this to give you hope, after all the ups and downs, I am now cancer free, yeah!! My prayers are with you for a good report and a healthy cancer free life. God Bless You!
