Anything but a card

Hi there friends!

Not such a good week for me. I had my results for my CT scan on my Abdomen and chest. It seems the Kidney cancer that I had 6 months ago when I had my kidney removed has spread to my left lung. It is called metastatic disease. At the moment it is only very small but still a tumour. I see my Urologist on the 12th of this months so I will know then what will be done. Hopefully it can be cut out. I was hoping for a better year but I have beaten it twice so hopefully and prayerfully  I will beat it again. I have too many projects to do.

This box that I have made is for the Magnolia-Licious  Easter/Spring  Extravaganza contest.  Check it out. There is still time to enter.Fantastic prizes to be won and supplied byDiana from the Magnolia Store

I don't think you would have seen this Tilda with lamb. I mixed up two images. I'm sorry but I forget what thisTilda is called. Yep! that's right! Tilda with Spring bundle  and of course the lamb is from the Tilda as shepherd stamp. I had fun with this one after about three attempts. The entries are so wonderful.

This picture is not the best. I need a good camera or I need to improve with my photography

OMG Maz I love all the detail you have put into this project, and the clever use of two stamps. The embossed mat (is it reversed?) the the DP and punched edge....it's all fabulous.
I will keep you in my prayers for a bright outcome on the 12th.

Maz,

You wonderful new Tilda altered Easter Box is absolutely stunnin! I can't even being to image how long it must have taken you to create and color it. It's an amazing piece of art! I am so impressed with all the detail and time you must have put into this fabulous project. Wonderful!

I've also been admiring the coloring that you've been doing with the Prismacolor Pencils. I've tried them a few times now and have taken a couple of mini classes, but I struggle with the pencils and the force I seem to need to put into coloring with them. I just can't color at all with them and I guess it must have something to do with the Arthritis? It's simply not comfy at all for me! Bummer because the looks is really nice!

I am deeply sad to hear that you CT scan showed a tumor and I will be HOPING and praying that I can possibly be removed and/or can be treated! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers - I am so sorry you have to go through all this...seems so unfair!

Hugs,

Lis

I found your blog by accident, although I know that I was sent by God. I too have beat cancet twice. I had my right kidney removed due to a cancerous tumor. A year later my left kidney also had a small tumor which had to be removed. I have since had over 20 surgeries but I am still here and going strong. I am telling you this so that you can be encouraged and know you can wand will overcome the "c" word. I will pray for you to continue to stay strong in God's strength and His Grace. I pray for a good report and for God to show himself stong in your life. God Bless you!
