Herbert the Turtle

Hi there!
I have just finished this Easel box card for a friend that is giving me her old Lap Top. I got this idea from Norma's blog. Even filled up the drawer with yummy chocolates.
The stamp is a Digi from karen's Doodles and it is called Special Delivery. His name is Herbert. I think he is kind of cute don't you. My friend collects Turtles so when I saw Herbert I just had to get it. I have colored him with Distress Ink re-inkers. I just put the watercolor paper through my printer and was able to use the ink without any problems. The DP's I used are Stampin Up ones. I didn't have a knob for the drawer so used what I had. It is not a good color but I had to get it finished in a hurry as we were going to their place for dinner tonight. Next time I make one of these Easel cards I will make sure I have the knobs available. I was disappointed with my little bunch of flowers on there and wished I had of done something different. Never mind. Next one will be better.

Hello Maz, I looooooove Turtles too, and this cutie is adorable. LOve your coloring with Distress, interesting to know that printer ink is compatible with watercolor.
I'm certain your friend will love.

I chose you because you made a comment about the sentiment Becca used for a card & not just about the beauty of the card itself. When I clicked on your name & saw your blog name I knew I had chosen right.
You too do beautiful work. I absolutely love this easel box card. Blessings to you.
