Saturated Canary Easter card

Today I have a Saturated Canary Card. Her name is Murray. It is another criss cross card. I really like making them. They are very easy. I have colored her with my Promarkers. No DP's this time but I do
have a little embossing. I added cheesecloth that I got from WOC. The little die cut on the top of the tag is a Spellbinders one.  I used my baby sewing machine again. It doesn't sew very straight...then again it could be the operator LOL.
I hope you like her.

Easter Blessings

My first Easter card for the year. Hopefully I can get a few more done in time to post.
This is the first time I have made one of these criss cross cards. They are so much fun.
I have colored Tilda with Promarkers. Sorry the pictures are not as clear as I would have liked.
My computer is getting fixed over the weekend so I wanted to get this on before the computer doctor takes it.
I errased the name on the inside. That's what that blob is LOL.

Happy Valentine's Day

I am having a wonderful week. I had my CT scan last week and there were no tumours to be seen. I have been feeling much better except for a flu I developed. I am at the end of it now so was able to make a Valentine's Day card. Thank you so much everyone that has prayed for me. You are all so kind and caring.

This card was fun to make. I colored Tilda with my Promarkers and flexmarkers.
I will enter this card in the Magnolia-licious Highlites challenge Blog. Patti Jo has challenged us to make Vintage and Shabby Chic. I hope this qualifies.
I will also put it in the Promarkers Challenge Blog    They want Love is in the air.
As you probably know I don't usually go into challenges very often so to go into two is a big deal for me LOL.

Tilda with Peony Tail take two

Hi!
My card today is Tilda with Peony tails again. She is from the Magnolia Stamps. This time I have colored her hair black. I colored her with Promarkers. The papers I used are from a Basic Grey pad and are called Hello Luscious. They are nice and bright. Just how I am feeling today. I used a spellbinder tag for the embellishments and added half pearls. I didn't feel to add any flowers to this one. I do need to work on the skin coloring as I think it is a bit too pale...Poor thing.

                                                                      A close up view.

I have entered her in the Magnolia-licious highlites challenge Blog

Distressed Tilda

Hello again!
Today I have colored Tilda with distress inks. I am so out of practice and this one is the best of about twenty attempts. Not much to say about it really except that I really enjoyed getting back into using the distress inks.
I am amazed at how you can get out of practice so easily. This one is for my dear friend. She knows who I mean. She has been waiting for me to put something new on my blog. Now that I am so much better I have no excuse to be slack.
I love this Tilda. She was a Christmas gift from another friend. I am such a lucky girl. This Tilda is called... Tilda with Flower Pot. She is so elegant with her cute coat. She would have it off if she lived in Australia....Phew!! is it hot?
A sort of close up of her....not too close though. Don't want to show too many flaws LOL.
Getting game...a little bit closer.

Tilda with Pony Tails

Here we are into another year. Happy New year to all my followers and I pray that 2012 will be a healthy prosperous and happy year for you all.
I am slowly getting better after my lung operation so I was able to make an easel card. I got a lovely Christmas card from a Maggie friend that used this die cut so I just had to have it to use myself.
It is a Marianne design Creatables. A really good size for the Magnolia stamps. The little heart pearls around the edges are Jewelry seals. (like what you would use to decorate your mobile phone). The flowers are handmade ones using punches from Fun expressions. I colored Tilda with pony tails using Promarkers and Flexmarkers.

A picture of my card closed

                                         This is it opened

A close up of the flowers
The flowers are very simple ones as I needed them to be quite flat for closing. The pearls in the middle are from Viva called a Pearl Pen. Color Ice white. Not sure about the black background. I thought it would show up the pale card better!!!

Another Tilda with Koala

I was feeling well enough today to make a card. Mind you it took me all day and I'm done for.
I love this cute stamp. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and burnished it. Usually I use odorless spirits but I do like this way of coloring. The seam binding ribbon was died with Promarkers. I added crackle paint to the edges and got carrried away a bit LOL. Dear friend Chris Dark was the inspiration for my wild flower coloring at Tilda's feet. First attempt so will improve. I am entering this in the Maggie Lovers Challenge

A Thank you

I made this card for all you caring folk who supported Maz during her illness. She has a way to go but thanks to your prayers and well wishes she will be able to enjoy Christmas.
Blessings from Doug (hubby of Maz)

This Tilda and Koala is a special one that can be purchased from Shopbron
Doug has colored this Tilda with his Prismacolor pencils and odorless spirits. I think he did a super job.
I am entering this in the Maggie Lovers Challenge for Doug.

Magnolia-Licious challenge

hi Ladies!
This is my entry for Magnolia-Licious Highlites blogspot I made this lantern from a pattern that Lena Katrine gave a tutorial for. Mine is no where near as good as hers but I did my best and that's what counts right?
I colored Tilda with Promarkers.
For those interested
I have quite a bit of pain today but am feeling much better in myself. Hopefully I am on the way to recovery.
I am not able to take strong painkillers because of having only one kidney so that is not so good. The doctors have said it will take about twelve to sixteen weeks to recover. I say 'give me another couple of weeks LOL.

Here is my Lantern....

Out of Hospital and Tilda with Koala

Hi my dear Followers!
Well as you can see by my heading I am out of hospital. I came home two days ago. I coped really well with the operation. I had a nerve block put in my back to ease the pain. It is something like an epedural. Apparently the pain can be very bad when they operate on your lung so I was very happy to have this. After four days they removed the drainage tube from my lung (not the best feeling but I braved the storm LOL). I don't have the results yet and am in no hurry to get them. It is a secondary cancer from the kidney cancer of last year so I have learnt to except what will be.

Yesterday I was quite ill but after getting medication from the doctor I am feeling much better today. Good enough to put a card on. I did color this one before I went in and don't tell anyone but it is just sitting on the card not stuck together. You wouldn't know though now would you?? I did make the flower some time ago. It is a native to Australia so thought it would be perfect for this card. It is called a Banksia. Very similar to a Bottlebrush..
The stamp is a special one that can be brought from Shopbron Tilda is so cute holding that Koala.
I colored it with Promarkers.
