My Sketch card

At last I have decided to do a sketch card and enter into the http://magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com/
Thanks Becca for the great Sketch. Becca also put a tutorial on her blog on how to do a tight frame with the spellbinder frames. I have used the idea on this card.
I have colored Tilda with distress inks.
The hair: Walnut stain and black soot
Face: Tattered rose
Dress: Forest Moss. star: Mustard seed.
I also used star dust stickles on her wings, star and the edges of her dress. Also at her feet.
I don't know the DP as it was a gift a long time ago.
I used spellbinders frame and Martha Stewart Gothic border punch on the triangle shapes.

Bereavement card

I have made this card for a friend who lost her Mother last Tuesday. She is Dutch and I thought this Magnolia stamp of two flowers was so right. I wanted to make the card very simple.
I have coloured it with distress inks. Dusty concord for the flowers and Bundled sage for the leaves. I used Pumice stone to put shading around it. I used Spellbinders oval frames and a scalloped frame. I also used a spellbinders tag for the sentiment. The two side panels are from an embossing folder. Sorry I can't remember the name of it.
The Magnolia Stamp is called Two Tulips and it's from the Hoppy Easter collection. You can get it here

Tilda's Easter Baket

Hi!

I have been having fun making this great woven Easter basket from here
I made the flowers from the Nelli Snellon punches and the leaves from Martha Stewart punch. This Dinner Tilda was one of my first Tilda's from Magnolia stamps
Tilda is coloured with distress inks. I must say I still haven't really got the hang of them yet but hey! I'm having fun learning. Tilda is sitting inside a Spellbinders frame.

No Easter eggs in there yet.

April Showers

Hello!

Well it has been a long time since I have put a card on but finally have one. This one is called April showers. I have coloured this one with distress inks. I have been practicing but still need a lot more practice. The flowers I made are called Wattle. They are native to Australia.
Here in Australia on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland the rain hasn't stopped falling for days.
There are floods everywhere. Fortunately we live on the top of a high hill. The grass here is usually brown from the heat and dryness. It is nice to see the green grass like my home land of New Zealand.
