My Friends Christmas card

Hi blogger friends!

I had a terrific Christmas day with my sister and her family. Here is a photo of Doug and myself. We have had such a hard three years battling cancer but 2011 is going to be a stress free year.
This is the card I made for my dear friend Patti Jo. She sent me this stamped image so the least I could do was make her a Christmas card with it. Just had a thought....do butterflies fly around when it is snowing?

Snuck another Christmas card in

Yes! I know I said I had finished my Christmas cards but I found I needed one more.
This one is very glittery. The cardstock I have used is a thick glitter one. It looks real nice in real life.
I used Spellbinder nestabilities to put Tilda on. She is colored with distress inks and I then put  Star Dust Stickles on her dress which was colored with Victorian Velvet distress re inkers. The tag is also a Spellbinders tag and the sentiment is computer generated. Hope you like it.

This is a close up showing the glitter

And this is showing the little angel charm. Rather cute I thought.

My final Christmas card  is going to my aunt in New- Zealand.
She is 88 years young. I have colored this one again with distress inks.
the DP is from a Stampin up designer collection. I have also used a favourite  Spellbinders frame.
It is also one of my favourite Magnolia stamps.

Snowy Hugs

Hi Friends!
Here is another card  with one of the new Christmas stamps from Magnolia.

This one is done in red and pink. I used a MS punch and threaded ribbon through it top and bottom.
I have colored it with Distress inks.

Christmas Hugs

Hi Friends!
This Magnolia stamp of Tilda is called 'Tilda wants a hug' and she can brought from Diana here. She is from the 2010 Christmas collection. My dear friend gave this stamp to me for Christmas. Wasn't I blessed?
The card is quite a simple one for posting. I have found out the hard way how much it costs to post cards with all the trimmings.
I have colored Tilda once again with Distress inks.
Her dress is colored with Dusty Concord
Hair: Walnut stain
Face: Antique Linen
Cheeks: Tattered Rose
Holly in her hair: Bundled sage and berries.. Barn door.
